TUCP Committees:
A Three-Tiered Structure

TUCP uses a three-tiered committee structure to introduce new members to our organization and help them grow by slowly offering them more responsibilities and opportunities for development within our organization. Following the entertainment industry standard of introducing new employees to the business in the mailroom, all new members begin at Tier-1 to learn the basics.

From tabling alongside our board, cutting handbills, hanging posters, and more, Tier-1 members gather an understanding of the club and its operations, as well as meet the board members who work to plan, execute, and market each event.

Tier-1 members then advance to Tier-2 which offers them the ability to further their development within TUCP by contributing to student events. Tier-2 members can assist the Recreation Chair and Lagniappe Chair at their events and can even apply to host their own Lagniappe event under the supervision of the President, Vice President, and Lagniappe chair.

Once a member has garnered a full understanding of the inner workings of TUCP, they will advance to Tier-3. These members can assist with Concert Chair, Comedy Chair, and Direction Chair with their respective events. These members have priority in slating for the following year's board.
